Corporate Training

​In the capacity of a Mental Health Trainer, I am available to deliver standalone presentations and structured training  on mental health to organisations and companies.

​

As a trainer I have been requested to deliver to deliver presentations on a range of mental health topics ranging from suicide prevention, fundamentals of Transactional Analysis, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) and positive psychology to organisations and government departments including The Intellectual  Property Office and Department of Work and Health and Pensions.

​

Companies are increasingly recognising  the value of training some members of their staff to act as Mental First Aiders (MHFA). These staff are trained to provide immediate assistance to colleagues, clients or customers who are in a state of a mental health crisis, or experiencing poor mental health, and will sign-post people to the appropriate help and support.  

​

The short two-day certified training course which I can deliver at a bespoke centre or organisational premises, also raises staff awareness of mental health issues, and can benefit not only the workforce but their family and friends.

​

Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) are trained  following an international licensed model developed in Australia. As an approved MHFA instructor  I can deliver a certified or accredited level one or level two-day MHFA course. Please go to MHFA Wales for more my profile and further details.

In my capacity of a trainer I’m also heavily involved in an organisation called Gower Wellbeing and co present team building and other strategic and motivational corporate events with this company to both National and local companies.
